OFFER FOR CELLULAR NETWORK CORP TO BE TURNED DOWN

An investment group controlling 8.42% of the shares of American Cellular Network Corp and led by Moran Asset Management of Greenwich, Connecticut, reckons that the $25 a share agreed offer from Comcast Corp is much too low and that holders should turn it down and not accept anything less than $45 a share: it is also casting around for other cable and cellular operators to come up with higher offers.
