BNY ConvergEx Group, a provider of agency brokerage and investment technology services, has announced that its LiquidPoint was selected to provide workflow automation technology for the New York Stock Exchange Amex Options, which is a part of NYSE Euronext.

BNY ConvergEx said that the NYSE Amex Options trading floor booth operators are expected to now use LiquidPoint’s technology for execution and routing on the trading floor. This technology has been incorporated into the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) Amex Options trading platform and wireless network, made up of booth terminals and wireless handheld floor broker terminals.

BNY ConvergEx also said that LiquidPoint worked closely with NYSE Euronext operations staff to develop the workflow and automation to meet the needs of the exchange. LiquidPoint and NYSE Euronext are also working to provide additional connectivity and functionality between off-floor brokers and traders and the NYSE Amex Options floor based terminals.
