The new 32-bit NMX-322 array processor for the DEC VAX environment from Numerix (UK) Ltd was announced yesterday along with its supporting Integrated Vector Processing software, designed to make Fortran 77 processing easy: for just under UKP50,000 you get the processor, Q-Bus, Unibus or VAXBI interface and 4Mb of memory as well as IVP software, a Fortran compiler, an application library and installation.
