Nucletron has purchased Pilgrim Software’s SmartSolve suite of fully integrated, automated solutions to enhance the efficiencies of its core management systems and ensure compliance with international regulatory standards.

The Dutch manufacturer will implement Pilgrim’s SmartSolve solutions initially to automate its business processes and increase the reporting capabilities of its management team. These advancements will allow the company to streamline its overall operating environment and are anticipated to lead to a more effective integration of products, software and services.

Laying the groundwork for the full integration of SmartSolve within Nucletron, the company will first deploy SmartDoc to overhaul its existing manual document management system, enabling shorter publishing cycles, streamlined reviews and an increase in document security.

In addition, it will implement Pilgrim’s SmartCAPA and SmartComplaints for non-conformance and customer complaint management, SmartTrain to manage employee training scheduling and certification tracking, SmartAudit to support its internal audit capabilities, Supplier Focus to better manage supplier quality, and Calibration for optimum equipment maintenance and management.

Nucletron has also purchased Pilgrim’s SmartSolve Synchronization Agent to allow for seamless data integration of existing business systems with Pilgrim’s SmartSolve solution. By automatically harmonizing data between the SmartSolve modules and Nucletron’s existing business systems, the potential for human labor and error costs are greatly reduced, and data currency and consistency are ensured.

Pilgrim’s SmartSolve solutions take Nucletron to a whole new level of compliance and productivity, just as using email has effectively driven the efficiency of communications versus sending letters through the postal service, said Leo Hovestadt, Nucletron’s director for quality assurance and regulatory affairs.
