nuBridges has launched nuBridges Exchange3.0, its secure managed file transfer (MFT) software for extended enterprise. It offers enterprise infrastructure offerings that protect data both at rest and in motion.

The product helps organisations reduce file transfer costs and complexity, secure and audit file transfer events, meet compliance requirements and easily share files among departments, divisions and high-volume B2B communities, nuBridges claims.

The company said that the product is a scalable offering that runs on distributed systems platforms and works across disparate IT environments, offering support to multiple file types, standards and protocols including sFTP, FTPs and AS2. In addition, it is designed to accommodate communication methods, increasing data volumes, growing user populations and multi-enterprise collaboration requirements.

According to nuBridges, the new software allows enterprises to incorporate file transfer operations into SOA-complaint business processes and applications and enables customers to migrate from Commerce Suite to nuBridges Exchange3.0.

Other features include global visibility, allows users to view all internal and external file transfers in real-time via a web-based user interface; audit logs for compliance; cross-platform installer; and authorisation model, which establishes balance between access and security.

The company claims that the product supports scheduled, event-triggered and ad hoc file transfers through a browser-based portal that lets authorised users easily upload, download and view files. A graphical dashboard enables enterprises to monitor transaction activity in real-time, including business activity monitoring (BAM) and business process management (BPM) capabilities.

Kim Addington, CMO of nuBridges, said: “Today’s extended enterprise has porous borders by design so it can react more quickly to revenue opportunities, tap into global ecosystems and complete order-to-cash cycles faster. nuBridges Exchange is a new generation of managed file transfer technology that makes it easier to move information, to enable collaboration, and to monitor and prove compliance.”
