NTT PREPARES FOR PROTOTYPE FABRICATION OF THE 64M-BIT DYNAMIC RAM

Nippon Telegraph & Telephone Corp, which last year described design of a 64M-bit dynamic RAM, is now preparing for prototype fabrication of the part: the company has just completed building a synchrotron to generate X-rays for etching the fiendishly tiny circuits, and has already proven it on 16Ms.
