NTT Com’s half-yearly operating revenues have increased by 2.7% to reach $5.08 billion in Q3 2007 compared to 2006, fueled by the growth in solutions category, IP services for OCN-brand Internet access, IP-VPN, and wide-area Ethernet services. Additionally, the company reduced its operational expenses through value chain rationalization and overall cost controls, including control of capital investment. During the same period, the company’s operating income rose by 98.5% to reach $570.9 million. However, the company has reported decline in income from voice and data communications, including leased lines and packet switching services.
