Nippon Telegraph & Telephone has begin marketing Cadmarc, a computer-aided design system for the construction industry: it runs on the 16Mb WS/E31 engineering workstation from Mitsubishi Electric, which is an enhanced version of the EWS-100 and transmits data at up to 9,600 bps and supports a graphics display, printer and plotter; Nippon Telegraph hopes to sell 50 of the turnkey systems annually.
