Nippon Telegraph & Telephone Corp has been giving a sneak preview of what it plans to show at the Japan exhibit at the Telecom 91 show to be held in Geneva in October: highlights will focus on Broadband Integrated Services Digital Network products, including a three-dimensional Image Display System that does not require special glasses to get the effect; a desktop tele-conferencing system known as the Personal MultiMedia Communications Conferencing System; high-definition television teletext terminals; an expert system used to design digital mobile communications systems and large-scale private networks; and Terabit-per-second communications, which is a target of research as a future technology.
