NTT DEVELOPS VIDEOPHONE SYSTEM FOR USE ON ISDN

Nippon Telegraph & Telephone Corp has developed a videophone system for use on ISDN networks, but its transceiver is incompatible with the similar Invite 64 system developed by Kokusai Denshin Denwa Corp: the new NTT phone transmits speech and 10 frames a second of video over 64Kbps ISDN digital circuits.
