Japanese IT services firm NTT DATA has acquired Keane, a US-based IT services firm.
Following the acquisition, Keane International and its subsidiaries will remain outstanding as separate legal entities, said NTT DATA.
This transaction is expected to enable NTT DATA to provide fully integrated IT services in the US, in addition to the global SAP service capabilities it has built to date.
In addition, NTT DATA plans to further strengthen its support of the group customers through coordination and cooperation between Keane International and the NTT DATA global group companies.
Keane president and CEO John McCain said as Keane aligns with NTT DATA and their global group of companies, Keane expects to drive growth by expanding its market reach and bringing greater visibility to its core capabilities.
