The UK’s sixth largest cable company NTL Inc, has claimed that it is doing better than any of its competitors, with a 16% increase in its subscriber take up for both TV and Telephony operations to a total of 286,000 subscribers. In the last quarter the company added 44,000 customers and has a network that passes nearly a million households. The company is reputed to be the most aggressive player in the UK cable industry, which seems to be paying off in an otherwise lackluster market, unlike other UK players like General Cable Plc.
