NOVELL TO FOCUS ON IDENTIFYING COST SAVING MEASURES

Novell Inc will focus on identifying cost saving measures ahead of its planned merger with privately held WordPerfect Corp, senior vice-president for finance Stephen Wise told the annual Hambrecht & Quist Technology Conference in San Francisco: announcement of the merger prompted many analysts to downgrade Novell ratings saying that they do not see how it would benefit it.
