Provo, Utah-based local area network specialist Novell Inc is widely seen as a local area networking software company, and although that has not been entirely the case in the past, it very definitely is now: a year ago, software accounted for 30% of turnover, but by the end of 1988 the target is 70%, and accordingly, the company has restructured its sales organisation and will be increasingly emphasising the software side in its product divisions.
