NOVELL PREDICT SECOND QUARTER EARNINGS

Novell Inc chief financial officer Jim Tolonen said he expects second quarter earnings to be above the $0.23 a share earned in the first quarter: It’s too early to tell if results for the second quarter ending April 30 will be above the $0.26 a share earned in the prior year’s second quarter, he said; the current fiscal year first quarter revenues came out at $311.4m.
