NOVELL INTRODUCES THE NETWARE ARCHIVE SERVER SOFTWARE

Novell Inc, Provo, Utah has introduced the NetWare Archive Server Software for on-line archive and restore functions for single local area networks or for multiple net configurations: With the NetWare Archive Server Sofware, the drudgery of performing regular back-ups is eliminated, says the company; it needs a file server running NetWare v2.1 and a dedicated workstation with block-addressable storage device and will cost $2,000 from the second quarter of 1988.
