Novell Inc, Provo, Utah is shipping the NetWare Client 32 for MS-DOS and Windows, and claims that it is the only client software to give 16-bit MS-DOS and Windows 3.1 users full 32-bit access to NetWare services, including the Novell Directory Services. The software is available to download free from Novell fora on CompuServe and the World Wide Web, and uses the same code base as the existing NetWare Client for Windows95 (CI No 2,795). Alongside Novell Directory Services access, Novell maintains the software gives users simultaneous access to multiple network servers, printers, and application resources. The NetWare Application Launcher – designed to enable centralized application installation and administration – is also included. The software has been enhanced to offer support for Large Internet Packets and Third Generation Packet Burst.
