NOVELL HAS FORMAL TESTING PROCESS FOR 1,000+ USER SERVERS

With Microsoft Corp’s recent Scalability Day in mind, Novell Inc says it has now introduced a formal testing process for 1,000- plus user environments. It says that using IntranetWare and Novell Directory Services it’s now practical for customers to build manageable, large-scale systems with over 1,000 users on a single IntranetWare server. Our competitors have never been able to do this and continue to lag behind, says Novell. Let’s hope that the single server is a reliable one.
