By integrating Intellisync’s leading wireless email and PIM platform directly into the GroupWise platform, we can help Novell customers connect and synchronize nearly any mobile device to their Novell GroupWise accounts and eliminate the need for third-party mobile middleware to enable true push wireless email, said Intellisync COO Clyde Foster, in a statement.
Intellisync currently supports most mobile devices for wireless e-mail.
Novell plans to begin a beta program in January and make the service widely available in the first half of 2006. Novell said customers with existing maintenance agreements could use the new push e-mail features at no cost.
