Santa Ana, California-based Novadyne Computer Systems Inc, formerly McDonnell Douglas Information Systems, says it has assumed the US and Canadian service base of Emulex Corp: Novadyne will take on the warranty and on-site service responsibilities for Emulex’s existing end-user base effective immediately and obtained from Emulex all spares to support the base; it also got in excess of $400,000 in assets, consisting of spare parts, technical manuals and training videos and Emulex will provide all spare parts repair for one year after the official start date; as part of the exchange, Novadyne has made offers to several of Emulex’s field engineers, those that accept will become associates of Novadyne.
