Notify Technology has released NotifySync 4.7 for BlackBerry, which supports Microsoft’s Version 2.5, 12.0 and 12.1 ActiveSync protocol technology. The new version adds over 30 new features to the initial NotifySync product which was released a year ago.

The company claims that its NotifySync product is targeted to provide BlackBerry users a direct connect offering that provides wireless push email, calendar, contacts and task synchronisation to those email platforms that offer the ActiveSync protocol technology as their primary mobility interface.

According to Notify Technology, the NotifySync is a downloadable application client that provides BlackBerry users with a new email box while interfacing to the native BlackBerry calendar, address book and task applications. It is simple to provision as it requires the basic information as any ActiveSync mobile device requires and does not require the use of any middleware since it directly communicates with the email platform’s ActiveSync interface.

Paul DePond, president and founder of Notify Technology, said: We are excited to announce our latest version of NotifySync for BlackBerry which has over 30 new features encompassing security, usability, and additional ActiveSync support.

“Since its launch less than a year ago, the response to our NotifySync product has exceeded our expectations in market acceptance. Organisations of all sizes are showing interest in our NotifySync product due to its simplicity, robust functionality, and competitive price. NotifySync provides users with a BlackBerry solution where in the past they were limited to only using a Windows Mobile, Palm, or Apple wireless device.

NotifySync supports all commercial cellular data networks and all 802.11x Wi-Fi networks.
