The implementation and ongoing support of the technology will be coordinated by Autonomy’s web specialist partner Amaze.
As part of the agreement, Autonomy will provide its Idol technology to spider 100,000 internal documents and external marketing information, aiming to create a receptive system that connects data and delivers the information to the right recipient.
In addition, Autonomy will offer automatic categorization to help organize documents for Norwich Union Life’s repositories, and automatic hyperlinking features that provide instant links to matching data, creating associations between content and facilitating the automatic analysis of information.
Amaze will oversee the deployment of the technology and provide Norwich Union Life with continuous professional support.
The overall goal of the implementation is to enable Norwich Union Life to manage research and intelligence material in a more timely and efficient manner, allowing the company to understand the needs of its customers and react dynamically to the latest market developments.
