NORWEGIAN FIRM LAUNCHES BID FOR CANADA’S CBCI TELECOM

Oslo, Norway-based Tandberg ASA said that it is making an offer for the entire share capital of CBCI Telecom Inc at a cash price of $4.74 per share. CBCI Telecom manufactures and markets a range of visual communications systems and it is currently listed on the Montreal and Toronto Stock Exchanges.
