The clinical and health data repository initiative provides real-time exchange of computable health data between the Defense Department’s electronic health record system, AHLTA, and the Department of Veterans Affairs’s (VA) HealtheVet patient record system, VistA.
Under the terms of the contract, Northrop Grumman’s IT sector will provide systems engineering and integration, information assurance and security, configuration management, technical support, and system enhancement and maintenance. The contract is valued at $10.3 million over one base year with two one-year options.
