Under the contract, Northrop will provide biometric capture services, such as scanning and recording fingerprints, photographs and signatures, for the agency’s citizenship applications and green card renewals. Northrop will work in all 50 states with a chance to expand overseas, according to company statement.
The award includes a one-year base period worth $357m and four one-year options. Northrop has been handling the same service for USCIC since 1999.
