NorthgateArinso, a provider of Human Resources software and services, has won a contract to provide systems integration services to McDermott, an engineering and construction company.

According to NorthgateArinso, it will perform the OnPremise implementation of its euHReka Workspace (EWS) platform, including employee and manager self-service for McDermott with the ability to use the platform across McDermott International’s employees in over 20 countries.

NorthgateArinso said that the work is part of McDermott’s global implementation of SAP Finance and HCM, for an updated system to manage, retain and develop its workforce across operating regions. Its EWS will help to improve user acceptance for a transition to the new system.

The company said that the employee and manager self-service will allow employees and managers to have a direct interface with the information they need to manage interactions within the firm including benefits, 401K and insurance, and also a manager interface to administer and supervise company resources.

In addition to systems integration services, NorthgateArinso will provide McDermott with application maintenance outsourcing support for three years. There is also an option to extend the contract and services once the initial project has completed.

Preston Johnson, senior vice president of HR at McDermott, said: We realise the importance of ease of use in any successful technology project, and we are confident that NorthgateArinso can deliver a system that not only meets our needs from a technical standpoint, but also the needs of our employees.
