NORTHGATE COMPUTER WANTS CHAPTER CHANGED FROM 7 TO 11

Minneapolis-based volume personal computer marketer Northgate Computer Systems Inc has filed to have the Chapter 7 petition for its involuntary liquidation filed against it by three creditors converted into Chapter 11 bankruptcy under which it would be protected from its creditors while it sought to reorganise: it says it will file a Chapter 11 plan within the time allowed it by the Bankruptcy Court.
