NORTHERN TELECOM WIN SUPPLY CONTRACT WITH GRUPO IUSACELL

Northern Telecom Ltd has won a $330m three-year supply contract with Mexican cellular operator Grupo Iusacell SA, where Bell Atlantic Corp is a major shareholder to deploy the infrastructure for its national cellular network: the order covers digital Time Division Multiple Access fixed wireless access network intended to provide service in remote areas of Mexico.
