NORTHERN TELECOM TO INVEST IN SERVICE ORGANISATION IN CHINA

Northern Telecom Ltd is to invest $130m to develop a research, manufacturing and service organisation in China, fulfilling terms of the memorandum of understanding signed by Northern Telecom and the state planning commission of China last June; the Canadian says it already has over 4m lines of DMS exchanges installed or on order in China.
