NORTHERN TELECOM TAKES DV1 DATAVOICE SYSTEM DIRECT TO END USERS – ENDS AGREEMENTS WITH RESELLERS

Northern Telecom Inc is ending its agreements with some 30 value-added resellers for its DV1 DataVoice System in the US, and taking the product, which incorporates 32-bit processor and PABX, direct to end users; it is also enhancing its Meeting Communications Service features so that 24 users can exchange chat, pictures and data in an electronic meeting, up from the present maximum of just eight participants.
