NORTHERN TELECOM HAS ORDER FROM ALBERTA GOVERNMENT TELEPHONES

Northern Telecom has done so much of its digital telephone exchange business south of the border that it almost comes as a surprise that it should actually win a contract back home, but the company is in for $60m of business from Alberta Government Telephones, which wants 10 new DMS-100 exchanges, and has also signed for upgrades to two existing ones.
