Northamber Plc, the Chessington, Surrey-based computer, printer and peripheral distributor managed to claw back some ground in its fiscal first half, posting pre-tax losses of UKP54,000 in the six months, down from UKP495,000 last time; turnover was not available, but it seems that this upturn was largely down to the closure of its Irish burden, the subsidiary Studley Ltd, which cost UKP1.1m in losses last year.
