The Digital Asset Management (DAM) software company North Plains has announced a plan to acquire VYRE, a UK-based provider of Marketing Resource Management (MRM) and Brand Asset Management (BAM) software.
Integration of VYRE with North Plains will allow customers to optimise creative marketing lifecycle to create, manage and share rich media, improve marketing agility and profitability, the company said.
Following acquisition, North Plains’ creative asset lifecycle management offerings will be combined with VYRE’s applications to offer integrated creative and marketing processes onto a single platform, which the company said will reduce time-to-market and ensures brand consistency and compliance.
North Plains CEO James Christopher said: "This acquisition continues our rigorous focus on enabling North Plains customers to better connect and engage with their target audience by unleashing the power of their visual media."
Lowe & Partners Worldwide director of business transformation Omar Tunio said that as users of Xinet and VYRE technologies, the potential for substantial return from the interoperability between the applications and the opportunity to work with a single partner.
"These technologies combined provide more freedom for our creative team to produce great work," Tunio added.
VYRE is a provider of software solutions like On Brand, a software-as-a-service (SaaS) which provide web-based marketing platforms.
