Cetia already builds an 88000 workstation, the Cetia 88K, and like the Norwegian company is a member of 88open, whose acolytes are committed to portability of their Unix appli cations across 88000-based com puters. SGS-Thomson Microelec tronics NV has second-source rights to fabricate the 88000 – for military applications only.
