The implementation of Kewill Transport is expected to give Norfolkline a future-proof transport platform providing increased flexibility and visibility across its logistics operations, which will enable the company to streamline its day-to-day business and improve its customer service, said Kewill.

Norfolkline will implement Kewill Transport across 32 sites and 384 users. The software will enable Norfolkline to support its wide-ranging business processes, ranging from intermodal operations to non-asset-based third party logistics.

Jacco Schonewille, chief information officer of Norfolkline, said: We needed to invest in new systems as they were at the end of their life. Kewill’s technology stood out because of its functional and technical capabilities. The solution provides a solid foundation to interface and integrate with current and future systems, as well as providing support across the logistics division. The flexibility of the solution will support us as we look to increase efficiency, reduce costs, while enabling us to plan for future growth.

Jacquie Boast, Kewill’s COO for Europe, said: We are committed to delivering operational efficiencies to Norfolkline and providing them with the tools they require to offer increased service to their customers.
