Norbain Electronics Plc continued its return to profitability in the first half – results on page three – and has started the second half well: the microcomputer peripherals distribution arm, Norbain Micro, increased its volume by 50% in the first half, and the component and security divisions, Norbain Technology and Norbain Imaging, experienced improved turnover and margins: the third party maintenance division, Nationwide Systems Engineering, is expected to benefit in the second half from a recent change of management and several new orders: the parent has tapped Computer Consoles Inc’s European vice-president Richard Levy as deputy group managing director.
