Nomad converts iPhone charger into a portable battery backup

The charger will be shipped from 30th November 2014.

By CBR Staff Writer

Electronic product manufacturer Nomad has introduced NomadPlus, a device that can be plugged into iPhone wall charger and transform it into a 1500 mAh portable battery that can charge iPhone up to 70%.

The concept eliminates the need of a rechargeable battery; instead users can plug in the NomadPlus which will charge the phone first and then the internal battery, which can be used to charge the iOS device later.

NomadPlus is made up of high-impact polycarbonate, and it weighs 60grams and measures 2.75" x 1.33" x 1.10".

With a power output of 5V/1A is said to be suitable for iPhone, but it will take more time to charge an iPad.

The website displays the price to be $39 for pre-order.
