NOKIA WINS $170m CELLULAR PHONES DEAL WITH AT&T

Nokia Oy shares soared in Helsinki yesterday after the company said its Nokia Mobile Phones unit had won a long-term deal for AT&T Co to market its portable and mobile cellular phones. Initially, the agreement calls for AT&T to market Nokia-made digital and analogue products, supported by a full line of cellullar accessories, Nokia Mobile Phones said, putting a value of over $170m on the agreement.
