Nokia will provide Celox with a turnkey DSL access network for up to 250 nodes throughout Germany. The equipment includes CPE (customer premises equipment) terminals on the customer side, and infrastructure elements that support data transmission rates of up to 2.3 Mbit/s through SHDSL (Single Line High-Speed DSL) technology on the network side.

In addition to providing the infrastructure, Nokia is also responsible for the complete set-up, technical launch and subsequent maintenance of the network.

We have chosen Nokia as our System supplier for a number of reasons, Stefan Sattler, managing director of Celox, said to the press. Nokia unquestionably is a leader in DSL technology. The technology that Nokia offered ideally fits our innovative network concept. Our cooperation to date has shown that our decision was the correct path to choose: Customer care by Nokia is characterized by a high degree of reliability and a highly professional approach.
