NOKIA-MOBIRA PACT WITH AT&T

Nokia-Mobira Oy has brought AT&T Co into the pan-European digital cellular business by signing AT&T Microelectronics in the US and Spain to collaborate on the design of, and then manufacture, proprietary signal processing components for use in Nokia Mobira’s planned digital cellular telephones. The chips will be fabricated in sub-micron CMOS.
