NOKIA LOST CONTRACT TO NORWEGIAN GOVERNEMENT MINISTRIES

Finland’s neutrality and non-membership of Nato has cost Nokia Information Systems A/S a $600,000 contract to link together all Norwegian government ministries: Nokia, offering Bridge Communications equipment, was the low bidder, but lost the contract because its installation personnel could not be cleared for security for the job.
