According to figures published by the W-CDMA Association, Ericsson received 31% of the 108 contracts awarded last year. Nokia won just slightly less than Ericsson, coming in second place at 28%.

The two Nordic firms were competing against 60 other operators. It’s worth sounding a note of caution, however. The values of these contracts have not all been published, so it isn’t clear exactly how much revenue this represents.
