After introducing its spherical OZO virtual reality (VR) camera in July this year, Nokia Technologies has started taking pre-orders for the camera that costs $60,000 a piece.
The one of a kind VR device is capable of capturing 360° spherical video and 360×360 surround, and is targeted towards 3D movies and game makers.
Nokia is planning to start the shipments of the camera during the first quarter of next year.
The camera features eight lenses in front of a 2K x 2K sensor that can capture and produce 3D images at 30fps with a 10 stop dynamic range with ISO 400.
Apart from capturing images, the camera also features eight microphones that are capable of recording multi-directional sound too with 64dB S/N and 120dB max SPL.
OZO can capture 8 channels of raw video and audio to a 500GB SSD.
The camera also features built in Wi-Fi for wireless control that functions only with OS X 10.10 Yosemite.

Buyers will have to pay $5,000 deposit to pre-order, and its accessories like docking station costs an additional $1,500, and digital cartridge costs $5,000.
