The Nokia Lumia 900, which was displayed at the CES 2012, is likely to be launched in the mid of 2012 in the UK.

The Lumia 900 is capable of supporting downloads of up to 50Mbps, with 7 hours of talk-time and 300 hours standby time, due to the presence of 1830 mAh battery.

The Lumia 900 is expected to hit the shelves in the US, a bit earlier in March.

The successor model to the Nokia Lumia 800 is embedded with 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon APQ8055 + MDM9200 processor, 512 MB of RAM and 16GB of on-board memory.

The details about pricing the phones have not been revealed.

However, once the Lumia 900 is rolled out, it is sure to bring down the price of Lumia 800 which stands at £400. Lumia 710 costs £300.

Carphone Warehouse, a UK retailer, briefly put up a page for the Lumia 900 but pulled it back soon after, fuelling speculations that the handset will be up for sale in June 2012.
