Clarification: apropos any successor to IBM’s 4381 (CI No 1,049), Bob Schwartz, manager of mid-range product introductions at White Plains, stresses that he said there is no way we can use two packaging design points to span the 370 range, says he doesn’t remember being asked if that meant that there would be a new line to succeed 4381, and that what he would say in reply to such a question now is I can’t comment in terms of specific plans, products, nomenclature or dates.
