Laser Precision Corp, of Irvine, California has signed a product distribution agreement with NKT A/S, the Danish manufacturer of cable and test equipment. Under the terms of the product exchange agreement, Laser Precision will distribute NKT’s telecommunications test equipment in North America and NKT will distribute Laser Precision’s fibre optic reflectometers, power meters and related accessories in Continental Europe. According to Laser Precision, the deal represents a significant step towards its goal of becoming a major seller of fibre optic test equipment in the rapidly expanding European markets, while the NKT products will substantially enhance Laser Precision’s offerings.
