NIXDORF WANTS MORE LAPTOPS FROM MATSUSHITA

Nixdorf Computer AG is raising its order for AT-alike laptop computers from Matsushita Electric Industrial Co for delivery next year. Matsushita makes the 80286-based 8810M15 to Nixdorf’s specifications, and it is scheduled to ship 6,000 of the things to Paderborn this year – and Nixdorf wants 12,000 for next year. Nixdorf is also buying Matsushita’s Group III facsimile machines OEM.
