NIPPON DEC HAS JAPANESE VERSIONS OF FOUR US ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE PRODUCTS

The US parent has agreements with IntelliCorp, Inference, Carnegie Group and Teknowledge for their artificial intelligence environments on the VAX, and now Nippon DEC is capitalising on the enormous interest in knowledge engineering in Japan by offering Japanese language versions: the four companies have agreements with local software houses for the English-language versions, and will also get distribution rights to the local language versions – but DEC will provide support for the latter.
