Japanese software developer Nippon Computer Systems Corp has published a major revision of its earnings forecast for the current financial year to March 31. It now expects pre-tax profit to drop 95% year-on-year to 10m yen while the previous forecast was for an increase of 9% to 230m yen.

It has dropped its sales forecast to a 1% growth to 3.3bn yen from the earlier projections of 10% growth to 3.6bn yen. A statement said a number of redevelopment projects have been postponed or scaled back due to corporate restructuring by end users. It said there has also been pressure to cut prices.
