Sony is expected to fire the next shot in the console price war by reducing the cost of its market leading PS2. The PS2 currently retains at £199 in the UK, and is looking overpriced as it the least powerful of the three consoles, and unlike the Xbox, which has a built-in hard drive, requires users to invest a further £27 for a memory card if they want to save games.
